Flutter Deco

An old image I had worked on that still needed some polish. I had the vector pretty much finished, but wasn't quite satisfied with the look of it yet. With a general lack of inspiration I decided to finish it in Gimp and add some fancy effects—some subtle textures and an emboss filter on the lines. It could have turned out more to my liking, but I'm still pretty happy with it.

The idea behind this was to make something a bit Art Deco inspired. It's not much more than a source of inspiration, but I like how the style of the piece is still pretty distinctive.
