This is a list of all the artists in the pony fandom, who I think are notable in one way or another. Mostly it is quality based, though some artists are included for sake of popularity or just because I personally like them. The quality standard is rather strict, but artists are only judged on their best, usually most recent work. Old work that is not up to the standard will not discredit an artist.

The file consists of two parts. The main list, which contains all artists that I consider most important, and a secondary list (scroll down) where I add promising artists who are likely to be included some time in the future. Artist I recently discovered are usually added to the secondary list so I can watch them for a while before promoting them.

The list's columns are structured as follows:
1: * means the artist is a personal favourite of mine. ! means I consider promoting them to the main list soon.
2: Artist's DeviantArt name. If not on dA, Tumblr name is used instead. Grey cell means deactivated account.
3: Link to dA page.
4: Keywords describing style.
5: Additional notes
6: Former dA names (grey) and alt accounts
+: Tumblr accounts and links. Orange cells indicate NSFW content. Should be only Tumblrs relevant to MLP.

The list should be updated regularly to reflect newly discovered artists. It is never definitive, nor do I consider it flawless. You are welcome to make suggestions, but there is no guarantee that I'll modify it accordingly. If you notice someone's Tumblr is missing from the list, please inform me and I'll add it.
